Carl Nixon, from the La Madre foothills, fell in love with the Miller forward after seeing him open up about his autistic son on the smash hit documentary ‘Welcome to Wrexham.’

This weekend, the 64-year-old travelled halfway across the world to see RU take on Swindon where he got to meet his hero as well as the head of the official supporters club, Roy Squires.

And, in true footie fan experience, Carl sadly travelled hundreds of miles to unfortunately see Rotherham lose 2-1.
