YOUNG striker Josh Kayode is set return to the Rotherham United squad for tomorrow's clash at Wycombe Wanderers.

The 21-year-old missed out with a swollen knee when the League One leaders reached the final of the EFL Trophy with a penalty-shoot-out win at Hartlepool United on Tuesday.

But he has recovered quickly and manager Paul Warne said: "Hopefully he will be available this weekend."

The Millers will be boosted by the news as they are without a trio of injured frontmen, Will Grigg, Freddie Ladapo and Georgie Kelly.

Kelly, yet to make his debut after his January move from the League of Ireland, hurt his calf on Monday and could be out for around a month.

Rotherham played wing-back Chiedozie Ogbene down the middle with Michael Smith in the last half an hour at Pools and may use that combination again at Adams Park.

Midfielder Jamie Lindsay lasted for only 35 minutes of the semi-final tie before having to be withdrawn because of shoulder damage and is a doubt for the Chairboys encounter that pits first place against seventh.

"Jamie's struggling," Warne said. "He was really confident he would be okay with his shoulder at Hartlepool but it was really apparent after ten minutes that he wasn't."

Wes Harding was suspended for the Trophy game after picking up two yellow cards earlier in the tournament. He is eligible again and certain to be in the matchday 18.

Top scorer Smith, who has hit the target 24 times in this campaign, is in line to make his 200th appearance for the club tomorrow.

Warne said: "It is a big game and I'd like to think we'll come away with something. We probably need  six wins in our last ten games to go up automatically."
