Does Rotherham United ace Ollie Rathbone have a chance of lining up against Hull City next Saturday?

The midfielder has been sidelined since late February by a groin issue.

KEY man Ollie Rathbone is scheduled to make a return to Rotherham United training next week.

The midfield man has sat out the last three outings because of groin trouble and the Millers are desperate to have him available for their nine-match Championship survival run-in.

The club had been considering giving the 26-year-old an injection to speed up his recovery but, as thing stands, he looks to have escaped the need for a jab.

Rathbone is due to rejoin the main group at some stage after the weekend and, if all goes well, he could be available for next Saturday's visit to Hull City when the second tier kicks back into action after the international break.

Rotherham hope to nurse him to the end of the season when he will be given a specific programme to help strengthen his troublesome area.

He has been a stand-out performer since the turn of the year and his absence was sorely felt in recent defeats against Birmingham City and Preston North End.

The Millers are in 20th place, four points clear of the drop zone.
