Countdown is on to Titans' crunch

TITANS head to Nottingham this Friday knowing that five points in the bag will confirm their place in the play-offs.

Saturday's 26-25 win over Doncaster, coupled with Nottingham's narrow defeat at London Scottish, means that the Clifton Lane men go into the game in the coveted fourth place, one point ahead of their rivals.

"We’ve always said it’s in our hands but we know what a tought test it’s going to be against Nottingham," he said.

"It will be a winner-takes-all game and we have to take all five points...but that’s easier said than done."

Titans had two penalty tries against the Knights as a late penalty from Tom Barrett adged them to victory.
