ROTHERHAM United boss Alan Stubbs will be looking to complete some transfer business during this week's tour of Poland.

With only one summer arrival so far, winger Anthony Forde from Walsall, the club has plenty of work to do but contact has been made with other targets and bids lodged and progress is expected soon.

Stubbs said: "I'm not panicked. I know we are working hard behind the scenes and I'm comfortable with who we've made contact with and if we do manage to get them in then I think a lot of people will be excited with what we are trying to bring to the football club."

Having overseen a 7-0 win over Parkgate on Saturday, Stubbs expects a harder workout in the two games in Poland this week against Miedz Legnica tomorrow and Gornik Zabrze on Friday.

Skipper Lee Frecklington will be involved after sitting out the match with a virus and Stubbs will also use the forthcoming games to take a further look at his trialists. Defender Ryan Taylor, midfielders Sessi D'Almeidi and Benedikt Saller and goalkeeper US goalkeeper Chris Konopka were among those used at the weekend.
