Big night at the New York

THE New York Stadium stages one of its biggest games of the season tonight when Rotherham United lock horns with Brentford.

The match pits fourth versus second in League One and a win for the Millers would trim the gap between the teams to seven points with eight matches to play.

Manager Steve Evans' focus remains on securing a play-off place and extending his team's unbeaten run, which now stretches to 13 games after Saturday's victory at Peterborough.

Brentford arrive in super form too, beaten only once in the league since October.

Evans said: "Brentford have got a fantastic squad of players and a good manager (Mark Warburton) who has taken over there. If we can be in the game with 15 minutes to go and with the crowd behind us, then who knows?

"This is a really tough week for us, going to Peterborough and then having to play Brentford and Bristol City on Saturday.

"All we can do is concentrate on one game at a time. We've nine left and we're trying to stay in the play-off group."

Rotherham will be chasing a league double, having won the first meeting 1-0 at Griffin Park in October.
