Best man won, says Curtis

CURTIS Woodhouse suffered a broken cheekbone in Friday’s big fight at Rotherham’s Magna Centre.

And he admitted: “The best man won on the night.”

Woodhouse was stopped in the fifth round by Alfreton’s hard-hitting Dale Miles and is currently recovering from the fracture.

“I gave it my all,” he admitted. “We both took some huge shots and the best man won—but I’ll now have a rest and then make a come back.”
