Three crews from Dearne, Adwick, and Cudworth stations attended the blaze at the Butcher's Arms on High Street at 9.35pm last night.

Tenants in a flat above the pub had managed to get out before the fire service arrived, said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
