TWO teenagers have been arrested in connection to the murder of Swinton man Lewis Williams — taking the total number of those held to ten.

Officers arrested boys aged 15 and 17 last night (Tuesday) on suspicion of murder, a police spokeswoman said.

Both remain in police custody, she added.

Mr Williams died after a reported shooting on Wath Road, Mexborough, at 4.26pm on January 11.

Jack Parkes (20), of Arnold Crescent, Doncaster; Ryan Nisbet (20), of Springwood Road, Barnsley; and two boys aged 16 and 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at a hearing on Monday.

They are due to enter pleas at a hearing on April 16 and a trial, scheduled to last three weeks, will begin on September 6.
