Jason Gossop, sales manager of the hotel said he saw the success of a similar event being hosted in Barnsley and wanted to replicate it with his own tea party for people in Rotherham.

"Carlton Park Hotel is delighted to host our first tea party -  with the event sitting nicely alongside our Public Living Room which we host on a monthly basis to support the lonely and our numerous local charities.

The event will be taking place on Wednesday (February 5), from noon until 3pm.
