Convicted sex offender handed more jail time for four offences

A CONVICTED child sex offender has been jailed again for a string of offences.

Michael Fletcher-Flint — who was imprisoned for two years in 2018 after a court heard how he used dating app Grindr to send explicit pictures to a “12-year-old boy” who was in fact a decoy — was sentenced on Tuesday at Sheffield Crown Court for four offences.

The 52-year-old, of Bonet Lane, Brinsworth, admitted two counts of sexual activity with a child and one each of sexual assault and inciting a child to engage in a sexual activity.

The offences were all committed in the Barnsley area between 2007 and 2009.

Fletcher-Flint (pictured) was jailed for 15 months and will also have to sign on the sex offenders’ register for ten years.

In 2018, he pleaded guilty to counts of attempting to engage a child in sexual communications, attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming and possession of a bladed article.
