Bulls which were loose on the M1 at Tinsley "were destroyed", police say

BULLS which became loose on the M1 during this morning's rush hour were destroyed, police have confirmed.

BULLS which became loose on the M1 during this morning's rush hour were destroyed, police have confirmed.

Police were called to the M1 at the Tinsley viaduct at around 9am following reports that a trailer had overturned and two bulls were in the road, a force spokesperson said.

"As the bulls posed a danger to life and property, the decision sadly had to be taken to destroy them both," the spokesperson said.

"The road was closed for around 90 minutes."
