Arsonists start fire on roof of Rotherham market
A FIRE was started on the roof of Rotherham market in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
Crews from Rotherham and Dearne stations were called to Wharncliffe Street at 12.55am.
"The fire was very small but the cause was deliberate," said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
The crews left the scene at 1.25am.
