Tributes paid at Ken Booth's funeral

FAMILY and friends of former Millers chairman Ken Booth gathered for his funeral today.

The scrap metal magnate who owned Rotherham United for 17 years was be laid to rest after a service at St Mary’s Church in Greasbrough.

Among the floral arrangements carried in the hearse through the streets were those spelling out “Grandad”, “Dad” and “Boss”, while his former employees funded an arrangement in the shape of a red lorry.

Mr Booth died on Monday, July 1, aged 91.
