Pupils get tip soccer tips from England star Jess

ENGLAND women’s football international Jess Clarke called into to two local schools for coaching sessions with the youngsters ahead of a friendly against Canada at the New York Stadium next month.

Jess visited Meadowview Primary and Wath Secondary to pass on tips about how to get involved with football and answer questions about playing for England.

The women’s national side have just beaten Canada in the final of the Cyprus Cup and the friendly rematch against the Olympic bronze medallists will be at the New York on April 7.

She was accompanied by the England Supporters’ Band, which includes celebrity member Bernie Clifton. They will be playing at the fixture.
