Fashion show dream for self-taught designer with style
A FASHION designer from Rotherham is all set to take her luxury brand Amani Kush to London Fashion Week.
Natasha Farrell has overcome difficulties to achieve her business success – and she is entirely self-taught.

Her luxury brand is based in Sheffield but she has gained international recognition.
But the entrepreneur is searching for support to take Amani Kush to London Fashion Week.

For Natasha, who spent her childhood in Rotherham, fashion has never been about clothes alone but about survival, healing and proving that where you begin doesn’t have to determine where you end up.
After suffering life-changing burn injuries as a child, she says she spent years seeking answers and accountability over what happened while under the care of social services.
But rather than allowing those experiences to define her, she built a future through creativity.
Entirely self-taught, with no formal fashion school or university training, Natasha taught herself every step of the design process.
This developed into Amani Kush, a luxury fashion and lifestyle brand built on healing, resilience and transformation.
Her work has already gained international recognition.
Natasha collaborated with Los Angeles celebrity stylist Lachanda Gatson on the Disney Princess Rework Project, a campaign featured by CNN and the BBC and shared by celebrities including Will Smith.
Her designs have been worn by actresses Tiffany Haddish and Tichina Arnold.
Now, after being discovered on Instagram by The Creatives, Natasha has been invited to showcase her Chains to Flames collection at London Fashion Week, an opportunity she describes as “both surreal and life-changing”.
But she has to overcome the costs involved and has launched a GoFundMe campaign to get the financial backing she needs.

Natasha will be taking new Sheffield model Leah Fogg to London Fashion Week, giving her a platform to begin her own journey, and is searching for a talented Black-owned makeup artist or makeup company from Sheffield to join the team.
Natasha said: “I’ve never wanted sympathy. I’ve always wanted an opportunity.
“If my story can show just one person that their past doesn’t have to decide their future, then every challenge has been worth it.
“I hope people will join me as this dream unfolds.”
