Rotherham Hospice to host second Interfaith Conference
The free community event will be held this month
Rotherham Hospice will host its second annual Interfaith Conference – a free community day of “open conversation, learning and connection.”
'Normalising Death Conversations – Faith, Care, Grief, and Shared Humanity' will take place on Saturday, November 28 at Phoenix Pavilion in Brinsworth.

Mirban Hussain, equality, diversity and inclusion lead at the hospice on Broom Road, said: “This is a free community event, bringing together people from faith and non-faith communities, healthcare, academia, bereavement services, and the wider community.
“The most important conversations are often the ones we avoid – let's start them earlier.
“Join us for a day of open conversation, learning and connection.
“The event will cover four key themes – death and dying, loss and bereavement, faith and belief, and compassionate communities.
“The day will feature a civic welcome, expert speakers, a faith and belief panel, an interactive discussion, workshops, exhibition stands, networking and lunch.”
The event will run from 10am to 3pm.
Places are limited and booking is essential to help plan catering and access requirements.
