Rotherham Musical Theatre Company returns this November with the classic The Wizard of Oz!

There's no place like home – and there's no place quite like the theatre when it comes to bringing the magical world of The Wizard of Oz to Rotherham.

Rotherham Musical Theatre Company will take audiences on a magical journey over the rainbow with its latest show at Rotherham Civic Theatre - led by RMTC’s very own 'Mr and Mrs Musical', Dee Bennie Marshall as director and choreographer, alongside Matthew Symonds as musical director.

A spokesperson for the Rawmarsh-based musical theatre troupe said: “With a fantastic cast ready to bring this timeless story to life, audiences can look forward to an enchanting production packed with much-loved songs, memorable characters, spectacular musical moments and plenty of theatrical magic.

“Together, our creative team promise to bring the wonderful world of Oz to the stage in a production that will delight audiences of all ages.

“Join Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion as they follow the Yellow Brick Road in search of courage, a heart, a brain and the way home.

“But beware - The Wicked Witch of the West is never far away!

“Whether you’re a lifelong fan of this beloved classic or discovering its magic for the first time, this is a show not to be missed.

“The tornado is coming to Rotherham and tickets are already flying faster than a twister so don’t leave it until you’re clicking your heels wishing you had booked.
