Arsonists strike twice overnight in Maltby

A WATER pump trailer and a moped were both set alight deliberately in Maltby overnight.

Firefighters from Maltby station attended the first deliberate fire involving a water pump trailer at 8.25pm on Tickhill Road and came away at 9.20pm.

A crew from Maltby later attended after a moped was deliberately set on fire at 10pm on Novello Street.

They left at 10.20pm.

Elsewhere, Edlington firefighters were called after an arson attack on grassland at 7.45pm on Weston Road, Balby.

The crew left at 8.10pm.
