Hide AdThe Mayor has already abseiled for charity and tried out some beer goggles since taking on the top civic role last May and had previously completed a skydive.
And as dozens of youngsters looked on this week, the Mayor proved once again that she was a game girl as Titans stars Colin Quigley and Dan Baines hoisted her into the air to catch the ball.
The Mayor was visiting Herringthorpe Junior and Infants School to present pupils with certificates for completing the Titans Community Foundation Reading Partner Programme, which involves Titans players visiting schools across the borough to act as positive role models and help youngsters with their reading.
