Land of Lights to glow at Gulliver’s Valley in Rotherham in support of Children in Need
An opening night Glow Walk at Gulliver’s Valley’s dazzling Land of Lights will raise funds towards this year’s Children in Need appeal.

Land of Lights opens at the Rotherham theme park to the public on Sunday (November 8, 2026), the same day as this year’s special Children in Need Glow Walk, which sees £2 of every ticket sale from the walk going directly to the popular national fundraiser.
Featuring new lanterns and displays, Land of Lights will open on selected dates until the end of January 2027.
The attraction features a one-mile route, covering multiple dreamworlds and featuring an array of incredible dinosaurs, with glowing trails and magical scenes to light up the dark winter nights.
There will also be music, entertainment, and street food for visitors to enjoy.
For the Children in Need Glow Walk, Gulliver’s is encouraging visitors to stand out and dress up in their own ‘glow’ clothes and accessories.
Rachel Lyon, festival manager at Gulliver’s Valley, said: “What a way to launch our wonderful Land of Lights! Children in Need is such a favourite appeal with all the family and it’s great that we can support it in this way. We want to see everyone – including mums, dads, and grandparents – dressing up in their special ‘glow’ clothes and accessories and they will be rewarded with a free 2027 Theme Park Ticket for their efforts.”
