Woman and 17-year-old girl suffer "serious injuries" in dog attack


A WOMAN and a teenage girl were taken to hospital with serious injuries after being attacked by a dog at a house in Conisbrough.
An ambulance was called to Oak Grove at 10.37am yesterday following a report of two people being bitten, police said.
A spokeswoman said: “A 30-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were taken to hospital for medical treatment for serious injuries.
“The dog has been seized by officers and enquiries are continuing at this time.”
