Wheelie bins, rubbish and a car amongst overnight fire incidents

CREWS contended with a host of deliberate overnight fire incidents involving a car and rubbish.

Firefighters were called at 7.20pm last night on Netherwood Road, Wombwell to a car which was deliberately set alight.

They left the scene at 8.25pm.

Edlington station firefifghters tackled a rubbish fire on Walpole close, Balby, at 7.35pm.

SYFR said the fire had been deliberately caused.

They came away from the scene at 8.30pm.

A wheelie bin fire was reported at 1.35am on Roberts Road in Edlington. 

Five minutes after leaving Roberts Road, firefighters were called to Edlington Lane to put out another wheelie bin fire.
