Warm spell to come to an end as Met Office warn of heavy rain for Rotherham


FORECASTERS have warned of possible flooding as the warm spell of weather is expected to come to a dramatic end on Saturday.
The Met Office said a band of showery rain will turn to heavy showers from around 1pm, with as much as 30mm in less than an hour possible in some places.
It has issued a yellow ‘be aware warning’ and also said hail and lightning was possible in some parts.
