Violent sex offender escapes prison and is believed to be in South Yorkshire

A CONVICTED sex offender who absconded from prison is now believed to be in South Yorkshire as police attempt to track him down.

Paul Marshall (53) is on the run after escaping from HMP North Sea Camp last Tuesday (November 22).

They believed he was in the Mansfield and Nottingham area and encouraged the public to “remain vigilant”.

Their investigation has now led to the identification of footage which is believed to be Marshall which was captured on Wednesday in Doncaster.

A spokesperson for the police said: “If you believe you have seen Marshall, please call Lincolnshire Police on 101 - or 999 in an emergency, quoting incident reference 298 of 22/11/2022.”
