Two further deaths and Covid patient numbers double
THERE have been two further deaths at Rotherham Hospital among patients testing positive for Covid-19 over the past week, while inpatient numbers have more than doubled.
There were 11 patients in hospital as of last Wednesday morning, with the figure rising to 24 today, with one patient in critical care.
Overall, 4,548 inpatients at the hospital have tested positive for the virus since the start of the pandemic.
