Three arson incidents in Rotherham overnight

GRASS, a car and rubbish were set alight in Rotherham last night.

Firefighters from Dearne station attended a deliberate fire involving straw and grass at 10.15pm on Hoober Lane, Hoober.

The crew came away at 11pm.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a fire in an alleyway at 10.50pm on Ellis Street, Brinsworth.

Rubbish had been deliberately set on fire, the fire service said.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 5.50am on Beale Way, Parkgate.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident and were at the scene for 40 minutes.
