Thomas Rotherham College principal leaves after just six months
Shirley-Ann Brookes-Mills (pictured), who took over from Stefan Jungnitz in the summer, has left her post, the college confirmed.
David Naisbitt, chief executive of the college’s parent organisation, the Inspire Trust, would not comment on the reasons behind Mrs Brookes-Mills’ departure or confirm or deny if she had resigned or been dismissed.

Hide Ad“The trust would never comment publicly on the details relating to any individual and their contract of employment,” he said.
“However, I can confirm that Mrs Brookes-Mills has left Thomas Rotherham College. We respect her right to privacy.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Brookes-Mills for her work at the college and wish her well in her future endeavours.
“In all other respects it is ‘business as usual’ at the college and the staff at the college are fully committed to working with students in providing the very best educational opportunities.”
