Teenager due in court accused of Thurcroft e-bike robbery

A BOY is due in court today (Tuesday) after a cyclist (70) was pushed off his e-bike and robbed in Thurcroft last month.

The teenager (17), of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates' Court charged with robbery and grievous bodily harm.

The pensioner was reportedly pushed off his e-bike before having it stolen while cycling through Thurcroft on January 27, a police spokeswoman said.

He suffered four broken ribs as a result of the incident, she added
