Six further deaths, Covid patient numbers fall

There have been six further deaths of people at Rotherham Hospital who tested positive for Covid-19, and patient numbers have fallen. 

There were 50 patients in hospital as of last Wednesday morning, with the figure falling to 34 yesterday. No patients were in critical care. 

Overall, 5,699 inpatients have tested positive for the virus at the hospital since the start of the pandemic.
