Six further deaths but Covid patient numbers drop by more than half
There have been six further deaths of people at Rotherham Hospital who tested positive for Covid-19, while inpatient numbers have dropped by more than half.
There were 34 patients in hospital as of last Wednesday morning, with the figure falling to 14 today. No patients were in critical care.
Overall, 5,716 inpatients have tested positive for the virus at the hospital since the start of the pandemic.
