RSPCA appeal to find man caught on video treating dog roughly

The RSPCA is concerned about the ginger dog - which was being yanked while being walked on a lead - and has released images to help identify the man.
The incident was reported to have happened on Wingfield Road at 2pm on September 1, and the man was captured on camera by a concerned member of the public who told the RSCPA.

Hide AdLynsey Harris, the RSPCA's chief inspector for South Yorkshire, said: "I am worried about this dog and am very keen to check that he or she is OK.
"We've had reports of a man roughly treating a dog and pulling them fully into the air by the lead around their neck and yanking them across a road.
“This is in a residential area and close to roads so I am hoping others may have seen something and be able to provide me with information as to who this man is.
“I want to hear from him, or anyone who knows who he is. In the video, he is seen walking with another man who has a black and white collie-type dog.”

Hide AdMs Harris added that a man wearing dark clothing could be seen on the video walking along the street with the ginger dog on a lead - which appears to be the size of a labrador - and suddenly bending down and pushing the dog.
The man is also heard shouting at his pet during the incident.
Anyone who thinks they can help is being asked to call the RSPCA inspector appeal line on 0300 123 8018.
