Rotherham town centre buildings evacuated over 'smoke issues'
FIREFIGHTERS have evacuated town centre premises following concerns over smoke issues - 48 hours after dealing with a similar incident in the same location.
Three fire crews are currently at the scene on Upper Millgate (pictured) after being called out at 2.55pm.
A fire service spokesman said: "There are smoke issues from a wall cavity from the roof of a building.
"Neighbouring buildings are in the process of being evacuated."
On Saturday, crews were called to the same street where they dismantled brickwork to find a blaze in an empty building.
