Queen’s Nurse nominated for top award
Tracey Long, nurse consultant and Queen’s Nurse at Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust, has been shortlisted in the 2023 Nursing Times Awards in the prestigious Nurse of the Year category.

“Through research and education, I strive for the highest possible standards of care, seeking to continually improve practice, for children, young people, and families, so to be shortlisted for this award is a great accolade.”
Tracey is also a senior research leader for nursing and midwifery with the National Institute of Health and Care Research.

Hide AdShe co-leads the Yorkshire and Humber branch of the 0-19 Research Network – an initiative aimed at public health professionals working with the 0-19s – which is also shortlisted in the awards in the Public Health Nursing and Clinical Research Nursing categories.

The winners will be announced during the awards ceremony at JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London on Wednesday, 25 October.
