Police car in town centre collision

A POLICE car on an emergency call collided with another car at a busy Rotherham junction.

An investigation is underway following the accident involving a police vehicle Doncaster Road in Rotherham on Tuesday evening at the junction with St Ann's Road.

“It is believed that a police car travelling on blue lights and sirens collided with a silver BM3,” said a spokesperson.

“No-one was injured during the incident and enquiries are continuing.”
