Police called after gun fired on Gerard Road

POLICE were called after a gun was fired on Gerard Road in the early hours.

An area was cordoned off by officers after the incident just after 1.30am yesterday.

“No one was injured and a window was damaged,” said a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson.

“An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to report it online or call 101 quoting log number 66 of November 30.

“Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
