Plant and craft sale to raise funds for hedgehog rescue in Sunnyside

For the Love of Hedgehogs was formed last year by resident Pauline Davis in her back garden after she was asked by a friend to look after three poorly hoglets.
With no such rescue facility existing in Rotherham at that time, Pauline decided to set one up of her own.

"I have brought in all the necessary cages and can look after up 30 hedgehogs at a time. I care for poorly hedgehogs, which are then transferred to foster homes until they can released back into the area where they were found."
Next door neighbour Kelly Lamb said she had seen for herself how hard Pauline worked to look after injured hedgehogs and wanted to hold an event to raise some extra funds.
The plant and craft sale will be held from 10am to noon on Sunday (July 19), next door to the rescue centre at 71-73 The Crescent West, Sunnyside.
Refreshments and cakes will also be on offer - with appropriate Covid-19 safety measures in place.
