Open day for new generation of NHS nurses


Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust needs nurses to join its care team and will host an open day for candidates to explore the opportunity.
Taking place from 9am to 2pm on Saturday, August 12, the event at Rotherham Hospital will welcome potential colleagues from around Yorkshire.

Hide AdStaff will explain current vacancies and interview those who have already applied through the NHS Jobs website.
The hospital trust are keen to hear from qualified nurses and ambitious students who are due to qualify in March 2018.
Acting chief nurse Ellie Monkhouse, said: “Rotherham is different from other trusts in the area.
“There are amazing opportunities to grow here and to have a direct impact on the way we deliver excellent care.”

“We want to hear from enthusiastic, future-thinking nurses who want to make a hands-on difference to healthcare.”
New nurses will get a two-week induction and the chance to experience different services.
Peer support groups, study days, career advice and pastoral support are all in place to ensure staff members reach their potential.
