One further death and Covid patient numbers nearly double
THE number of inpatients in Rotherham Hospital who have tested positive for Covid-19 has nearly doubled in just under a week.
There were 29 patients in hospital as of last Friday morning, with the figure rising to 50 yesterday.
Three patients were in critical care and one person had died having earlier tested positive.
Overall, 5,668 inpatients have tested positive for the virus at the hospital since the start of the pandemic.
