Officer’s tweet was no offence, say police

POLICE say no offence was committed by a senior officer posting on Twitter a photo from inside court.
Supt Chris Foster, a former Rotherham officer, uploaded an interior of Barnsley Magistrates’ Court on June 29.
He added the message: “Back in my hometown appearing at court for a job from my time in Rotherham!! The price of assisting the shift with an arrest and van!”
