They include Bridgerton star Ruby Barker, who plays Marina Thompson in the hit Netflix series, actor Jacob Dudman, best known as Thomas Price in The Stranger, and The X Factor and Happy Mondays singer Rowetta.

Mr Motivator will act as raffle host, Ruby will deliver the welcome address, Jacob is the after-dinner speaker and Rowetta is performing live.

A panel of specialists from across the modern slavery sector will also be discussing advances in survivor support.

Causeway supports people who have escaped modern slavery and human trafficking, and runs several safe houses and outreach programmes across South Yorkshire that help survivors of forced labour, forced sex work, forced criminality, and forced domestic servitude back into independence.

The charity also works with the South Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit to run safer communities programmes aimed at reducing re-offending rates.

Causeway works with people who have been arrested to address the issues behind the offending and help them move forward with their lives.

The event aims to both fundraise and raise awareness of modern slavery and crime reduction.

Mr Motivator said: “Causeway aims to level the playing field for those that society seems to have turned its back on.
