DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Swallownest over the weekend.

Emergency services descended on Alderson Close on Friday after receiving a report at 7.14pm that a man had been stabbed in an “unprovoked” attack.

“He suffered injuries to his back and was taken to hospital via ambulance,” they said.

“His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
