Man robbed at knifepoint by gang at his Moorgate flat

THREE men armed with knives robbed a terrified householder after threatening him in his own home.

Detectives in Rotherham are appealing for information after the knifepoint attack in Moorgate

A spokesperson said that at around 5.45pm on Thursday, November 25, three unknown men armed with knives had entered a gated car park at Kings Gate and threatened a resident.

“They demanded to be taken to the victim’s flat, before stealing items and fleeing the scene,” they said.

“The victim returned home the following day to discover that the offenders had returned and stolen most of his possessions.”

The men are described as wearing dark clothing.

Officers are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
