Man cleared of child sex offences


A MAN accused of sexually abusing a boy in Rotherham more than a decade ago has been cleared of all charges.
Daljet Singh (37), of Sandbeds Road, Walsall, has been on trial at Sheffield Crown Court accused of nine sexual offences against a boy between 2006 and 2007.
A jury returned unanimous not guilty verdicts on all counts today (Wednesday) after deliberating for seven hours and 28 minutes following a six-day trial.
