Fundraising target smashed as business brings in £10,000 for Rotherham Hospice
Wakefield-based Arena Group chose three hospices to benefit from its campaign to raise £25,000 to mark its 25th anniversary.

Hide AdA range of events included a Tough Mudder, a skydive, the Three Peaks challenge and raffles and bake sales.
The team’s total was £32,200, which was also shared by Wakefield Hospice and East Lancashire Hospice.
Arena managing director Adrian Fitzpatrick said: “I have truly been blown away by the energy and enterprise demonstrated by the whole team in order to raise such a huge sum.”

Hide AdSamantha Wood, Rotherham Hospice’s head of fundraising, added: “This money will give a dad, a mum, a husband, a wife, a son, a daughter the chance to be exactly that person for the short time that they might have.
“Arena Group has allowed a family to be a unit for as long as possible, enabling them to focus on nothing other than this without worries of pain, anxiety and stress.”
