Free Sunflower event to celebrate hospice and its supporters

ROTHERHAM Hospice will host its Sunflower Garden Party to celebrate the charity’s work and thank the community for its support.

The free event, from noon to 4pm on September 17, will include stalls, food and family fun in the hospice gardens on Broom Road.

There will also be performances from singers, bands and choirs, plus raffles and a tombola.

Hospice marketing manager Anne-Marie Parkin said: “Community is a big word at Rotherham Hospice.

“As a charity, it is though our amazing community of supporters that we can keep providing specialist end-of-life care to our Rotherham families.

“We want to bring the community in to Rotherham Hospice, to celebrate all the Hospice has done over the last year and to acknowledge the amazing contribution the Rotherham community has made to the hospice.”
