Five further deaths of Covid-positive patients but inpatient numbers fall
THERE have been five further deaths at Rotherham Hospital among patients testing positive for Covid-19 over the past week — down slightly from six last week.
Iinpatient numbers have also fallen over the past week.
As of this morning, there were 19 in-patients in Rotherham Hospital who had tested positive — down from 22 last week. None were in critical care.
Overall, 4,617 inpatients at the hospital have tested positive for the virus since the start of the pandemic.
