Five crews tackle building blaze in Thurnscoe
FIVE fire crews were needed to tackle an arson attack on a derelict building in Thurnscoe.
Crews from Dearne, Adwick, Edlington, Maltby and Parkway stations were sent to Houghton Road ayt 6.05pm last night to deal with the deliberate blaze.
The final crew left the scene at 9pm.
There was also a deliberate rubbish fire reported at 10.40pm on Lansdowne Close, Thurnscoe, which was attended by firefighters from Edlington station.
