Firefighters called to multiple vehicle incidents involving a quad bike, Audi and black Saab

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a host of blazes across the weekend including a quad bike fire.

Crews attended an incident on Long Lane, Treeton, at 10.19pm on Friday involving a quad bike.

The fire service said the quad bike was accidentally set on fire before they left the scene around an hour later.

Later on the same night, a black Saab was set alight in a field on Low Stubbin at 11.16pm.

The fire is being treated as deliberate.

Firefighters from Dearne station were called to Chapel Lane, Thurnscoe, at 2.14am on Saturday to reports of an Audi A3 which was on fire. 

A fire service spokesperson said the incident was being classed as deliberate.

The fire crew left the area around 50 minutes later.
