Fire crews tackle car blazes over weekend

FIREFIGHTERS spent over an hour-and-a-half dealing with two car blazes at the weekend.

FIREFIGHTERS spent over an hour and a half dealing with two car blazes at the weekend. 

Arsonists first set a car on fire at 8.10pm on Eland Road, Denaby Main, on Friday.

Firefighters from Dearne station attended and left at 8.50pm.

A crew from Rotherham station then attended an accidental car fire on Wellgate on Sunday afternoon. 

Firefighters dealt with the blaze, on Gerard Road at 2.50pm, and came away at 3.30pm.
